Alison Garrott Turner, P.E.
Alison has deep roots in the Gallatin area. She was born and raised here and is raising her family actively in this same community. After graduating from Gallatin High School, she attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville where she graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering. She has 15 years of experience in the land development field working in the Middle Tennessee area. Alison returned to the Gallatin area in 2004 with her husband to raise their three children.
After working locally for a year, Alison spent eight years with the team at Ragan-Smith Associates in Nashville. As a Project Engineer, she worked primarily on large-scale residential projects in Brentwood, Franklin, and Knoxville. She also worked on a mix of smaller residential and commercial projects in the Middle Tennessee area. She became a licensed Professional Engineer in 1997, and in 2001, Alison accepted a position at Barge Cauthen Associates where she gained experience working on commercial and institutional projects for H. G. Hill, Harpeth Hall, TN Board of Regents, Metro Public Schools, and many others.
In the past few years, Alison has been busy raising her boy/girl twins and their younger brother. She has managed their swim team, coached soccer, and served in her children’s school. She spent several years serving on the PTO board in various capacities, including PTO President for two years. Alison is excited to be back in the engineering business serving her local community.
