Zach Wilkinson, P.E., R.L.S.

Zach Wilkinson is a professionally licensed engineer and surveyor with 13 years of experience in municipal government project management and five years as the director of public works. Zach grew up in Portland, Tennessee, and worked with a few local surveyors during high school and college. His time working with other surveyors inspired him to pursue his career as a dually licensed Professional Engineer and Registered Land Surveyor at Tennessee Tech University. Before he joined our team at GreenLID, Zach spent his career working in the Engineering Department and overseeing the Public Works Department for the City of Gallatin.

When he’s not working, Zach can be found doing anything outdoors, but he especially loves riding and racing dirt bikes (specifically enduro and extreme enduro trails and events!) And he’s a licensed scuba diver! Professionally, his biggest accomplishment is becoming dually licensed as an engineer and surveyor; personally, his biggest accomplishment is tricking his wife into marrying him (awwww !). Zach married his college sweetheart, Tiffany, and they have two children, Charlie Kate and Corbin. They are blessed to be able to live on the same farm that Zach grew up on in Portland, Tennessee!

Throughout his career, Zach has served as project leader for various projects ranging from roadway and drainage construction to the development of workflow processes. He has overseen complex projects from the initial project concept and planning to the final project construction, acceptance, and maintenance. These projects often include coordination with private, local, state, and federal authorities, and he has worked hard to ensure all projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner while providing a quality finished product that meets all budget constraints.
