Our Story

GreenLID Design came from an idea more than 15 years ago when our founder delved into studies at Tennessee Tech University. Drawing on extensive experience in the Civil Engineering field, we found ourselves pondering the question: “Why does environmental stewardship have to be so extreme?”

The answer is, IT DOESN’T.

The very essence of the GreenLID Design moniker pays homage to our foundational ideal: the unwavering belief that sustainable development practices can be economically feasible while safeguarding the environment and preserving the State we hold dear for future generations.

Since our inception, GreenLID has evolved into a premier engineering firm specializing in civil and environmental engineering, permitting, land surveying, and land use consulting throughout Middle Tennessee. Our commitment to excellence has propelled us into close collaboration with local organizations such as the White House Utility District, the City of Gallatin, Sumner County, TDEC, TDOT, and more, contributing our expertise to numerous projects. What sets us apart is not just our experience, but our personal connections with these organizations, coupled with our familiarity and understanding of their standards.
